    For creatives and entrepreneurs. This course will teach you how to create brand identity, build credibility, and increase visibility.

  • Comms for Leaders

    Communications for leaders, public servants, advocates, and media practitioners. This course will teach you how to tailor messaging and use thought leadership to assert expertise. You’ll connect with your audience to increase engagement and reach.

  • Dev Comms

    Development Communications For institutions. This course will focus on messaging, stakeholder engagement, choosing the proper media channels, developing communications calendars, turning messaging into content, digital PR, and traditional media.

  • Content Marketing

    Content marketing is for brands and businesses. This course will focus on content creation and curation, audience profiling, campaign strategy, promotion, and turning evergreen content. You will deep dive into different types of content, for example, blogs, podcasts, white papers, case studies, newsletters, and social media posts.

    Skills you will learn: communication, marketing, content (creation, curation, promotion, engagement, analytics), lead generation, and nurturing (inbound and outbound marketing), digital PR

  • Digital PR

    Digital public relations is for traditional public relations officers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to understand how to get media coverage in a digital age. The course will focus on owned, earned, and paid media. You will learn how to use owned media to gain earned media. We will also look at how to create media lists and pitch to journalists to ensure that they see your work and understand how to use your content to meet their journalistic or storytelling needs.

    Skills you will learn: message development, pitching, media list building and management, social listening, crisis communications and reputation management

  • Design Comms

    Design Communications, also known as Canva for everyone, or how to design without photoshop. This course will teach you to design tools to improve your communication materials. We will use inbuilt AI features to develop QR codes, posters, flyers, reels, and digital media content that you need to brand yourself, your business, or your communications.

  • There is no academic requirement for enrollment. However, all courses are taught in English using a language that may be difficult to understand if you don’t have an intermediate or higher English language proficiency.

  • We have no affiliation with any university as yet. However, we will explore partnerships with colleges and universities who wish to bring our expert knowledge to their student learners. If you’re a student, professor, or administrator, contact your department head and ask them to get our courses to your school.

  • All paid courses will receive a diploma. Free courses do not get certification. To receive a certificate for a free course, you must pay a $9.99 administration fee.

  • Online courses range in price. Development Communications ($350), Communications for Leaders ($149), and all other courses ($69) unless otherwise marked as FREE.

  • We only accept online payments. You will receive a confirmation receipt after you pay.

  • You will receive an email containing your login information two business days before the first day of the class.

  • A group of digital communications professionals teaches courses. You will receive your instructor’s bio when you register for a paid course.

  • The VRIDC offers its online classes on a rotating basis. If you join our waitlist you will receive an SMS announcing new courses and dates.
